K-ON!! [Episode 3]

This episode started off with Yui’s face stuck to the glass where they put the turtle, she looked funny. Ritsu is sick of playing drums and wants to change instruments because she isn’t ‘visible’ to the audience, but she didn’t even think who will play drums if she didn’t. Yui and Mugi got interested in letting her play the guitar and encouraged her on trying, I laughed at Yui when she started crying suddenly saying ‘Gitah’ is cheating on her. Also, I couldn’t help but to ‘explode’ laughing when Azusa was teaching Ritsu where to put her fingers on the guitar, and she gave her a big smile indicating that she didn’t understand a word.

After Ritsu’s failure attempt to get used to the guitar, she decided to give up, and Yui was happy to get her ‘Gitah’ back.  Ritsu wanted to try out the keyboard next, she’s trying to shine and ‘radiate’ just like Sawa-chan <3  When she started playing the keyboard, Mugi was very interested and amused, that was cute.  Mio didn’t want to give up her position in the band as a bassist to anyone, and her personality is indeed like the bass.

Yui was forming a plan for her Operation Ricchan-in-the-Spotlight, and was using the dishes as drums to get herself in Ritsu’s shoes, lol.  In the end, she came up with a simple-but-great idea, it was to move the drums to the middle.  This was Ritsu would stay on drums and she can ’shine’ at the same time.  Her second idea was also hilarious, I laughed at Yui and Ritsu’s faces.

Sawa-chan was taking care of her skin so that she would get prettier? And she ended up wearing that mask to cover her messed-up face? Lol.  Also, DID WE GET TO SEE A RITSU WITH A PONYTAIL?! That was so cute, she looked adorable <3  It was funny how Mio and Ritsu tried to sneak into class the next day, and Yui blowed their cover innocently :3

Ritsu ended up admitting that drums were the only thing for her, and that’s true.  She’s pretty cool when she’s playing the drums, especially with her hair :3  Thanks to Ritsu, Yui got to understand that their places in the same band are totally different, and Mugi came up with a new song.  I liked Mugi’s new song and can’t wait to hear Mugi doing solo-vocal, and the name of the song has ‘Tea’ again in it.

I think it was obvious Ritsu wasn’t going to change instruments (at least to me).  In next episode the ladies will go on a trip to Kyoto or something, and they will get lost? I was hoping we would get to hear the new song, or at least part of it.  We’ll see next week!

K-ON!! [Episode 2]

This episode started with Yui asleep in class, and the only thing that woke her up (for 3 seconds only) was “Yui, we’ve got cake for you”.  Yui wakes up, Yui says “Lairs, I don’t say any”, Yui goes back to sleep.  Lol.

So the group decided to clean up their music club room.  Of course, the lazy two bums didn’t want to do it.  And it turns out not only Yui has stuffed animals, but even Mio :3  Though that strange Mario-like face wasn’t cute at all, lol.  Mugi had somethings there as well, and some expensive stuff as expected from her.

When it comes to cleaning...

The clubroom is full of stuff as if they were living in it, it was worth the clean-up.  Yui found a case that belonged to the old music club it seems, her and Ritsu were so excited to see what ‘expensive’ stuff it contained, and it turned out to be a guitar.  Their expressions when they found out were funny, they were turned down even though the were part of a music club, lol.

The innocent Azunyan though Sawako-chan was something professional, and she was shot down after Yui showed her Sawako’s picture in high school.  It’s good that she didn’t hear her perform yet, lol.  Also, I came to the conclusion that Ritsu and Sawako share the same ‘dirty’ way of thinking.  Yui ended up carrying the stinky guitar in the end, and Mugi always cheers her up.  Azusa always wants to act a bit mature but the ‘environment’ she’s in doesn’t help her, lol.

And so the club decides to buy the clubroom a shelf to be more organized.  It was Mugi’s first time to enter a home center, she was so impressed.  Though Yui’s passion about screws was more hilarious, I laughed hard.  Everyone was acting so childish (even Azusa), except Mio it seems.  They sold the old guitar for 500,000 yen? Wait, that is a lot.  The guitar was a rare item to obtain it seemed.  Good for the girls, though their expressions were priceless.  Especially their stares at the salesman, lol.

Ritsu doesn’t give a damn about spending the money.  Even when Azusa tried to complain about splitting the money (100,000 yen for each), Ritsu infected everyone except Mugi; because she’s the rich girl and 100,000 yen isn’t a lot to her?  Anyway, back in the club Yui didn’t take some of her stuff home because Ui would get mad at her.  When she told about what happened to her with Ui, I lol’d hard, it was a hilarious moment.  Both of the sisters are one-of-a-kind, I want such adorable sisters :3

I laughed when Yui said asked Sawa-chan if that meant she was in her fifties, and she shouted back “Where on earth would you find such a hot fifty-year-old?”.  The girls were avoiding Sawa-chan’s question about how much they sold her guitar the other day.  I seriously paused and laughed hard when she ate the recipt before handing it to Sawako, and how all of the girl were relieved.  It was so damn hilarious!  Though Ritsu didn’t have time to swallow it, Sawa-chan switched to her other scary personality and with “This second”, everything was sorted.  In the end, Sawa-chan didn’t mind them taking the money, and the blames were pointed at Ritsu.  Yui’s request was priceless as well, this girl lives in her own world :3

Azusa still wants new members, and all of the girls care for her feelings.  They were discussing this matter in class, and the atmosphere was cute and girlish :3  They ended up buying her a turtle as a new member; because Yui thought she was looking at it in the store because she wanted it, turns out she was looking at it because she thought it was weird, lol.  In the end, Azusa appreciated the thought and decided to take care of it :3

This episode was so fun.  I can’t wait to see the next episode where Ritsu is jealous of Sawa-chan’s beauty and wants to shine like her, too!  Duh, I think I overdid it this time.

Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai Anime Adaptation

One of my favorite manga series, Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai (also known as The World Only God Knows), is getting an anime adaptation. I stumbled across this series several months ago and have loved it ever since. Seeing it get an anime adapation is a wonderful thing to see. I’m greatly looking forward to seeing this animated, hoping that a good studio, possible Bones or Kyoto Animation, does the art work for it.

What is Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai about you may ask? It’s a comedy with dashes of romance thrown in series about the main character, Keima Katsuragi, who is well known amongst romance simulator gamers, also known as galges, as the “Capturing God” who mistakenly enters a contract with a devil. In order to fulfill this contract, he must capture the hearts of real girls who have runaway spirits hidden away in their hearts. Will he be able to successfully fulfill his contract to the end?

K-ON!! [Episode 1]

This season started with a big bottle of winsauce.  The girls gathered together on their way to school and Yui was early because she got the time wrong, lol.  She was practicing her ‘new technique’ awfully early (for her).  I liked the OP theme, it’s lovely as usual.  More with CoalGuys’ high quality release.

Ritsu harassing Azusa, Yui being dumb and cute and Mio being so moe and shy.  Ahhh, nothing changed, the series is all the same<3  All of the cute ladies are in the same class, it’s going to be fun!  And Ritsu’s conclusions are funny as hell.

I don’t have much to say. Anyone who claims to be a true fan of anime should know Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) whether you like the anime or not. Personaly it’s one of my favorites. I own all the DVDs (box set) and I’m currently working on getting all the manga.

But how could he really think of that accident as his ‘first kiss’? Ren tells Kyoko that if she believes it to be a real kiss, then it is so. But, as an actor, she should be able to treat is as if it meant nothing. Sharing a kiss with a person with whom you feel nothing for is something all actors should be able to deal with, without taking it personally; the actors ‘Rule of the Heart’. What you believe is what is.

Kyoko realises that the kiss meant nothing to her (like kissing an animal, she says), though Ren warns her that while the actors ‘Rule of the Heart’ can be used as many times a necessary with other performers, but it can only be used once for a private matter. She cannot let it happen again or else the next kiss would surely mean something, wouldn’t it? Kyoko believes so.

Of course, Ren has alterior motives in telling her this. With his own feelings for Kyoko growing stronger and Fuwa attempting to claim her once again, he has every reason to protect her from Sho for as long as possible.
Overall, this was a sweet and quite amusing chapter, but I do think this chapter was a bit lacking this time around. For what, I’m not entirely sure… a bit less dialogue and a bit more to show that the story is actually moving forward perhaps?. Hopefully the next one will make up for it, but this one rounded-off the Sho part of Valentine arc nicely. Kyoko was not traumatized (at least) and Ren showing a bit of his affection for her (in his own possessive way) was a nice addition to the chapter.

I’m going to make a prediction here that the ‘Actor’s Rule of the Heart” will come up again in a later chapter. We’ll see if I’m right, hm?. ^^
